US and Australia Sign 'Pilot' Mutual Recognition Agreement |

Those in Europe hoping for easier access to the US financial markets, and vice versa, are looking closely at the mutual recognition agreement signed this week between US and Australian regulators. A Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) director referred to the agreement as a "pilot exercise in building a cross border regulatory infrastructure".
