ISI Emerging Markets has entered into an agreement to acquire a copy of the Reuters EcoWin Economics Database from Thomson Reuters in order to enhance its coverage of the Asian region.

ISI also announced it would integrate this data into its CEIC Data time series databases within the next few months. Thomson Reuters will retain full ownership of the original Reuters EcoWin Economics database and related trademarks, and no changes will be made to its existing business as a result of the sale.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed but the sale is expected to close in the third calendar quarter of this year.
